This is based on a Dore woodcut of Dante's Divine Comedy. It is from Paradise XXVII, lines 1-3. '"Glory be to the Father, to the Son, /And Holy Ghost!" all Paradise began, so that the melody inebriate made me.'
It is painted in acrylic on a Loxley Gold box canvas and has two layers of varnish. It is signed on the reverse in pencil. All edges are painted and varnished. The image size is 20cm x 25cm (8" x 10").
