Icon of Sir Nicholas Winton, British humanitarian who saved 669 Jewish children from Czechoslovakia on the eve of WWII; children whose families died at Auschwitz.

The series of British saints attests to over a thousand years of Christian witness in the British Isles. Subjects range from Saint David of Wales to Cuthbert, William Wilberforce to Evelyn Underhill.

Sir Nicholas is painted in acrylic on a Loxley Gold box canvas and has two layers of varnish. It is signed on the reverse in pencil. All edges are painted and varnished.

The image size is 12.5cm x 25cm (5" x 10").
